The ingenious Tornado Tube demonstrates the scientific principles behind cyclones, whirlpools and hurricanes.

The Tornado Tube simply connects two water-filled fizzy drinks bottles. As water flows from one to the other a spectacular vortex of swirling water is created - an effect that can be further enhanced with the addition of a little food colouring or glitter.
