The watering cans are designed in the with metal-working skills that go back for hundreds of years.

They take many months to design and each piece is handcrafted and shaped from galvanised metal sheet, often using only basic tools on a simple anvil.

A natural consequence of this traditional form of manufacture is that they may not be as highly finished as a mass produced factory item therefore every product is unique and complete with minor blemishes, bumps and dents - we think this adds to the charm!

First, it is crafted into shape and then given a protective decorative coating.

If the surface becomes damaged, we recommend spraying with an aerosol metal paint.
