A Combatball course must meet certain specifications
to ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of the participants.

- The playing area must be checked periodically for possible hazards
- Boundaries must be clearly marked and protected against non
participants entering the area
- A referee is a good way of keeping things fair
- Proper Combatball Launcher safety must be taught to all new
participants
- A separate area referred to as the neutral zone must be established
and separated from the playing area
- Combatball Launchers must be unloaded before entering the neutral
zone.
Be a good sport. Don’t lose your temper
and remember its a only game!
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
One player is a bodyguard assigned to protect an unarmed
player from certain doom.
Objectives:
Guards must protect the civilian at all costs.
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. Any shots count as a
hit, but only head or chest shots can eliminate the unarmed player.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, if its your job to protect, protect! If not
chaaaarrrrrge. Remember people -play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
All players are using a new experimental ammo. These bullets don't
become live until they ricochet off something. The scenario ends
after a predetermined time limit.
Objectives:
Take out the enemy but remember - a direct hit on somebody doesn't
count unless the bullet has ricocheted off a wall, floor or ceiling
etc.
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. Shots must bounce off
something before hitting the target to count as a hit.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, fun, fun, fun, the wonderful
thing about combat ball is it does not hurt.
Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 3+
Scenario Description:
The scenario begins with each team defending a base. In each base
there is a flag and this must be defended to the upmost. Lose
the flag and lose the game.
Objectives:
In order to win the scenario your team must capture all other
team flags and return them to your base, without losing your own
flag. Game ends when all flags are captured or all other players
are dead.
Rules:
Goggles must be worn at all times. Only head or body shots count
for a kill. Players must return to their base for more ammo (or
any captured base). Losing your flag doesn't mean you're out of
the game. If you can return an enemy flag to your base, you're
back to square one.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, use your resources wisely. Don't leave your
base unmanned or the only flag you'll be flying is the one of
grim defeat. Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
This shows that Combatball is the ideal game for those rainy days,
and can be played in a small environment. Even in one room you
can have hours of fun blasting the heck out of your family and
friends.
Objectives:
Use all your skill and agility to avoid being hit while trying
to hit your opponents.
Rules:
Goggles must be worn at all times. Players can take three hits
then they're out.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, if you hippies can dodge the balls as well as
you dodged the draft you should find this a breeze. Brush up on
your target practice and come back to me for a real assignment.
Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
Each player has two minutes to hide their enemy’s ammo in
a designated room. They then swap rooms.
Objectives:
Players must find their ammo as quickly as they can. Once ammo
is found a player can choose to wait and defend their room or
launch an attack on the enemy.
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. Launchers must be empty
at the start of play. Once hit, play stops and both players swap
rooms and begin again. Game ends when a player has been hit 10
times.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, the best defence is a good offence. So once
you've found your balls get out there and eliminate the enemy.
Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
Each team starts in their own base. They must capture the enemy
base to win the game.
Objectives:
Make your way towards the enemy as carefully as you can. Don't
waste your ammo because the final assault will be a big one.
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. A player can only leave
their base with one clip of ammo. Once it runs out they have to
get more ammo from a joint ammo point.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people! You’re the best in the battalion so it’s
time to go one on one. They won’t show any mercy so neither
should you. Mercy is for the weak, glory is for ever and Combatball
is the only thing in between. Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
This is a free for all, everyone for themselves in a mass shootout.
This is Combatball at its most primal.
Objectives:
Don't get hit!
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. Once a player receives
a pre-arranged number of hits, they are out and must leave the
Combatball Game Zone. Ganging up, treason and dirtyplay are all
permitted.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, this is anarchy. The only thing more chaotic
than this is one of my 70’s revival nights. I’ll see
you in the mess hall later. Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
Each team starts in their own base. They must capture the enemy
base to win the game.

Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. A player can only leave
their base with one clip of ammo. Once it runs out they have to

receive more than a pre-arranged number of hits. As the team has
the advantage they are assigned less hits than the player.
Captain Combatball Comments:
Listen up soldier. These people are animals! They will stop at
nothing to end your miserable existence. Use your ammo wisely
and use any cover to your advantage. Now stop crying you miserable
sack of slime, I've heard it all before ‘‘but there's
more of them, its not fair’’ - get your candy ass
out there and show them what you're made of. Remember people -
play ball.
Number of Players: 2
Number of Teams: 2+

Get marker and return to base without getting hit.
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. Head shots don't count.
If a player is shot in the head they are allowed a free shot against
their attacker.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, this is a hostile environment, use all your
athletic ability to capture the markers. If you find yourself
in trouble it will take more than Alan Titchmarsh to dig you out.
Remember people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2
Scenario Description:
One team protects an unarmed scientist. The other team must take
him out

egghead.
Rules:
Safety goggles must be worn at all times. Any shots count as a
hit, but only head or chest shots can kill him. Players must leave
the game zone when killed.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people, this brainiac is developing a superweapon for
the enemy. We got to take him out like the garbage he is. Remember
people - play ball.
Number of Players: 2+
Scenario Description:
Play can take place in any office, it’s every suit for himself.
Objectives:
Score as many hits as possible whilst not alerting anyone in authority
(or who’ll be annoyed).
Rules:
Goggles must be worn at all times. Shots by non-players do not
count. Play stops at player’s discretion (or when caught
by your boss, if they’re not playing too). Player with most
points at end of game wins.
Captain Combat Comments:
Listen up people. This is a secret war. Your job is to protect
those poor saps from what’s going on. They couldn't handle
the truth, so don't blow your cover. Remember people - play ball.
