The Shards of Narsil Sword:
At the end of the second age of Middle-earth,
Narsil’s blade was shattered as Elendil fell during the Last Alliance
of Elves and Men in the great battle of Sauron.
Isuldur, Elendil’s son, then used the broken hilt of Narsil to cut
the One Ring from Sauron’s finger, breaking the bonds of his power,
banishing his evil shadow into the darkness.
The Shards of Narsilâ„¢ are presented on a 47" solid wood wall display plaque. The hilt is removable and the shards are permanently mounted on the massive plaque.
This adult collectible is strictly limited to
1000 pieces and is individually serialized for authenticity on the
cloisonne medallion that adorns the front of the display plaque.
The Shards include a parchment certificate of authenticity, along with a second certificate personally autographed by production artist John Howe, who designed the hilt on the Narsilâ„¢ sword and played a major role in designing many of the other swords featured in the Lord of the Ringsâ„¢ trilogy of feature films.
