How to play the game:

The horse racing game begins with the random selection of your Jockey.

There are 4 jockeys to select - from a skinny number 16 rider to the close-to-obese number 15.

All 4 jockeys have a near equal chance to win- because the heavier the rider the faster you can set the horse to run without the risk of a fall.

You can adjust the speed of the race horses before race time- you can think of this as training.

Simply lower your nags tail so that his legs start frantically pawing the air and adjust the gallop speed by inserting the adjusting key into the small hole in your horse's thigh, turning it slowly until you have reached the optimum speed.

The faster the gallop- the more likely your horse is to topple during the race. How much speed you want to give your horse depends on how heavy your rider is- the heavier riders can keep the horses steady at a higher speed setting.

Before the race starts you will want to take your trusty steed to the barn for some feeding - your horse doesn't really charge himself up on real oats- if you look under the barn you will find 3 x AA batteries.

The race track features an automatic starting gate which releases at the push of a button.

As the horses are underway- you will hear realistic horse racing sounds.

To complete the fun - place your bets, add your own sound effects and cheer on your stallion!
