The Galilea Moon Phase clock's revolutionary design precisely reproduces the daily evolution of the moon phases during its 29.5 day cycle.

At any moment it is possible to see if the moon is crescent-shaped, waxing, waning or full.

To achieve the effect, a vertical eye-lid style half-sphere constantly rotates around a fixed lunar disc, which is mounted on a clock.
