The Puddle Monsters from 'Freaks of Nature' offers children the opportunity to create their own pond of living organisms.

You can learn a lot by observing the life cycles and characteristics of living organisms.

Within 24 to 48 hours the monsters will hatch from the tiny eggs and grow to 1.5cm in about 30 days.

The life span of your new pets is approximately 4 to 5 weeks and during this time they will grow into adults and lay eggs.

This unique kit allows you to observe the growth pattern and behaviour of the Puddle Monsters, see them swim and dig around in the sand and even eat the smaller ones!

You can also grow grass around the edge of the specially designed Puddle Pool.

The Puddle Monsters kit supports the National Curriculum and contains a detailed instruction sheet.
