Carnivorous plants evolved 60-125 million years ago and can survive using photosynthesis but also need nutrients by cleverly attracting, capturing and eating insects.

The Mimosa plants are touch sensitive and transfer water to reduce cell size to make their leaves quickly snap closed.

To start, simply place the tray in the greenhouse, add sand and the substrate nutrient block with one litre of water and then plant your seeds.

Follow the instruction sheet on how to look after your garden and chart them on the activity graph to study their progress.
