Featuring the space marines versus the aliens, this chess set captures the mood and design of the original Alien sequel, James Cameron's "Aliens."
Each chess piece stands on the board sculptured in the shape of the metallic floor
of the space station.
The human side of the board features the design of the space station from the movie, while the sides of the board represent the gradual infestation of the station by the aliens.
Within the infestation are human victims, either awaiting a face hugger or perhaps incubation an alien warrior.
The heavy board opens-up to reveal a large storage space for the chess pieces that rest and are protected by a thick soft foam base.

When the Platoon investigating the silent colony arrive they find the
station intact but the people are gone. It's not long before the Platoon realise the entire station is occupied

Cameron develops a powerful, claustrophobic sense of atmosphere from the
beginning and keeps the Aliens moving in the shadows so that they retain
their menace.
For the marines, it's a dirty, sweaty business, and we're as aware of
the heat as we are of the danger, from which few survive.
